The role is responsible for implementing the product vision and roadmap alongside Product leaders and manage day to day product management activities for merchant Marketplace at Capiter. We are building technology products and services to help our Brand Partners and Wholesale Partners manage the complexities of Marketplace supply demand matching, B2B lead generation, logistics and sales management and reach out to the US $50B market comprising of more than 400K+ merchants across Egypt.
Capiter’s Marketplace function comprises of Order management, Inventory management, Catalog, Assortment, Pricing, Business Finance, Supplier Growth and merchant support with ever growing suite of capabilities and features to deal with complexities and customized needs of Partners on the Marketplace
The APM will be responsible for the problem solving and product development activities for their products required to support marketplace teams to deliver simplified, intuitive and frictionless experience to our merchants and suppliers on both the demand and supply side. This is a unique opportunity to learn multiple tech stacks and manage a product that has multi-billion dollar impact.
Key Result Areas (Accountability & Responsibility of the role)
You will champion customer centricity by analyzing, planning and managing the product features and enhancements based on evidence & research driven methodologies.
You will work closely with Business & Product leadership to execute the vision and product roadmap for Marketplace & SCM teams within Capiter’s B2B Marketplace
You will champion product execution by working very closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including but not limited to other product teams, business development teams, operations team, software developers, embedded engineers, design engineers, data scientists and business analysts.
You will be managing the Product backlog, Sprint cycle from Grooming to Sprint Retro and communication related to feature rollouts and timelines across stakeholders.
You will - at any point in time - be juggling on multiple projects within the workstream at different stages of product development.
You will own weekly and monthly reporting on the state of the initiatives for your product and utilize metrics to deep-dive into issues and uncover business-driving trends and patterns
You will drive adoption & growth of rolled out solutions, assess open opportunities to further enhance merchant and supplier experience and remove friction points.
You will measure improvements and impact of changes and set-up mechanisms to audit impact and perform necessary course corrections where needed to meet business objectives

Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in an analytically-heavy discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, Finance or Mathematics (or work experience to that effect)
1.5+ years of prior product management experience in an internet based company , preferably in B2B /B2C E-commerce Marketplace & Category
Preferred Qualifications ( not mandatory) :
MBA degree from Premier Institute / Prior start up experience will be preferred
Prior B2B/B2C marketplace/category Product management experience will be preferred.
Prior entrepreneurial experience with track record for delivering results in fast-moving and demanding environments
