Expansion Manager Role

As a member of the expansion team, you will be responsible for the launching and executing of new cities for Capiter. This includes research into new territories, building a local staff, craft processes, workflow and also helping in the initial setup until a local team is up and running. You will be working very closely with the Head of Global Expansions in this position to craft an expansion strategy and also help build the team.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy, proactive, go-getter who loves the challenge and is comfortable working in a multi-cultural corporate environment and leading complex sales & Ops processes across teams.


  • Own execution of launching new cities and help evolve expansion strategy

  • Sell Capiter as a concept to new partners and potential employees in a city

  • Hire, setup and manage local teams in different countries

  • Support Head of Fulfilment & Sales Director to implement the right legal structures in cities

  • Arrange training sessions to city staff on Capiter WOW

  • Fly to the city and execute setups for first few openings until city team is trained

  • Be the first community touchpoint for members in a new city

  • Create analytical models and tools to implement plans

  • Success will be measured on the number of cities successfully activated

  • Identify and implement alternative revenue streams & exploratory initiatives of the company.

  • Explore the best locations for expansion, including market analysis, feasibility study, site visits, and site presentation.

  • Work closely with different teams and lead work plans to achieve target number of store openings.

Who are you

  • 3-5 years startup expansion, management consulting, or similar role

  • Have a strong analytical and execution mindset

  • Likes wearing multiple hats in a fast-growing ambitious startup environment

  • Can work with little guidance and have ability to travel +70% of time

  • Great at communicating and training new employees

  • Likes being hands on and wants to get things done

  • Experience understanding regulatory and legal world is a plus

  • Experience hiring and managing cross border teams
