Job Summary

The Personal Brand Manager will work closely with the CEO; juggling multiple projects, managing priorities and have the ability to anticipate needs. Primary responsibilities include social media management and preparation for speaking engagements.

Key Result Areas (Accountability & Responsibility of the role)

  • Management of content and strategy for social media accounts for the CEO

  • Preparation of speaking engagements; create presentations and speech writing assistance (key points and outline)

  • Responsible for all social media platforms (content development & moderation)

  • Develop a communication calendar and update it on a monthly basis

  • Keep an eye on competition leaders social media & PR engagements

  • Manage the moderation of all social media platforms on a daily basis

  • Sync the communication calendar with the business calendar of the CEO

  • Manage and assess all 3rd party communication partners & agencies when needed

  • You will own weekly and monthly reporting on the personal brand social media performance

Key Skills Required For this position :

We prefer someone who has displayed a track record of:

  • Understands the role of personal brand manager

  • Social media management experience

  • People management experience

  • Solving for & scaling zero-to-one problems

  • Managing multiple stakeholders, both internal and external and who demonstrates the following soft skills:
    1. Comfortable with ambiguity in a dynamic environment
    2. Strong interpersonal skills & ability to lead through influence

  • Bias for action, in a very fast-paced result-oriented work culture

  • Well rounded with content creation (still and video with mobile at least)

  • Attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

  • Sound business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done

  • High degree of ownership and collaborate effectively with remote teams in multiple time zones
