The role is responsible for owning the product roadmap to create an end-to-end digital ecosystem for the Supplier side of the B2B Marketplace at Capiter. We are building technology products and services to help our Brand Partners and Wholesale Partners manage the complexities of B2B lead generation, logistics and sales management and reach out to the US $50B market comprising more than 400K+ merchants across Egypt.
This Product Manager will be responsible for the roadmap contribution, stakeholder communication, design and development sprint planning, requirements gathering and to build products that support deemed brand & wholesale partners. This is a unique opportunity to learn multiple tech stacks and manage a product that has multi-billion dollar impact.
The candidate will be responsible for understanding the business requirements and transforming the data and research based insights into customer-centric product/feature development and evangelize and track key business and product metrics for their product verticals in the Supply side of B2B Marketplace.
Key Result Areas (Accountability & Responsibility of the role)
Ideate, Define, Plan and Manage the roll out of the product features and enhancements based on data-driven methodologies
Work very closely with cross-functional stakeholders( including and not limited to business development teams, operations team, software developers, embedded engineers, design engineers, data scientists and business analysts) to execute the product roadmap for Supply management within Capiter’s B2B Marketplace
Create alignment within the organization through user interviews and feedback from stakeholders to deliver successfully on the needs for both external and internal customers
Create product plans, user journeys, requirements and documentation that are informative, concise and drive effective decision making and accountability for product success from design through delivery
Measure and report on the success metrics for features and the KPIs to ensure that we are in line with the business goals as well product goals for adoption and generating incremental value on developed features. Also, deep dive on the feature metrics to understand patterns with aim to uncover insights for business growth
You will - at any point in time - be working on understanding cross-dependencies with partner platforms and help in leading effort at all ends to ensure proper prioritization
You will drive adoption & growth of rolled out solutions, assess open opportunities to further enhance merchant and supplier experience and remove friction points.
You will measure improvements and impact of changes and set-up mechanisms to audit impact and perform necessary course corrections where needed to meet business objectives.

Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in an analytically-heavy discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, Finance or Mathematics (or work experience to that effect)
2+ years of prior product management experience in an internet based company , preferably in B2B /B2C E-commerce
Preferred Qualifications ( not mandatory) :
MBA degree from Premier institute / Prior start up experience will be preferred
Prior B2B marketplace or operational product management experience will be preferred
Prior entrepreneurial experience with track record for delivering results in fast-moving and demanding environments
